Chapter 6
Joy (November)
Icanât believe how nervous I am. Iâm sweating in my ugly Christmas sweaterâthis yearâs holiday party theme. Iâm not in the mood to party today, but I couldnât resist the temptation of the sweater.
Itâs been months since Kris and I started our online relationship. Thereâs been plenty of show and tell, but Iâm eager to see him in flesh and bone.
Kris didn't specify when he'll be back in San Diego this week. All I know is that his mother is doing well, and heâs decided heâs ready to return home. Although, he doesnât know where that will be since his father sold his childhood home to move to Redding, and Kris gave up his apartment.
I plan to ask him to move in with me. Is it too soon? I mean, weâve been dating, sort of. Since the night I first masturbated for him, neither of us has dated anyone else.
Thinking about it still gets me horny.
He's been busy, so we haven't had time to talk about anything else. I miss our video calls. I miss our video sex.
âHey.â Suzie rolls her chair over to my desk. âYou look like you could use a break.â
I glance at my watch. âShouldn't you head home and get ready for the party?â
âNot yet. I thought Iâd try one more time to convince you to come with me.â
âIâm really not in the mood this year.â
âOh, come on. Since you and Kris got together, I've been without a wingwoman. I need company for this. Please come with me.â
Without Kris in town for the event, I didnât bother to submit my name for the exchange or select somebody elseâs. âDonât you think it would be awkward? Iâm not taking part.â
âNobody will care, trust me. You'll feel better if you go out. It will help pass the time until Kris makes it back to San Diego. Whenâs he supposed to arrive, anyway?â
Suzie has been listening to me lament about a guy I haven't even kissed. But on more than one occasion, Iâve stuck my finger, or two, into my vagina and fucked myself. Iâve tweaked my nipples. Iâve even put a cucumber between my breasts and pretended it was him while he jerked off. Okay, that was a little weird. But it worked.
âI donât know. Seriously, Suzie, Iâm not up for celebrating this year. Not yet.â
âJust come for the photo op then. Theyâre doing it upstairs in the big conference room.â Her face lights up, her eyes full of excitement. âYou can sit on Santaâs knee and tell him what you want for Christmas.â
I shake my head.
âCome on. You can leave right after.â
Suzie keeps pestering me until I give in.
âGood. I heard they hired somebody special this year. Who knows? Maybe youâll get a special candy cane from him.â She takes my hand and drags me out to the hall.
We take the elevator to the executive floor and head toward the conference room. When we turn the corner, I see a slew of women waiting in line to sit on Santaâs lap.
